Ingredients

  • 1 (9 inch) pie shell
  • 2 cups solid pack pumpkin puree
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 pinch ground cloves
  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • In a large mixing bowl combine pumpkin, sugar, eggs, milk, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and nutmeg. Stir until smooth and thoroughly mixed. Pour pumpkin mixture into pastry-lined pie pan.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until set in center.
