Ingredients

1 cup butter, softened1 teaspoon baking soda3 cups raisins2 cups chopped black walnuts2 cups dates, pitted and chopped2 ½ cups all-purpose flour5 eggs1 ½ cups packed brown sugar
Directions

Cream together the butter or margarine and the brown sugar. Add the eggs, and beat well. Add the flour and baking soda. Chop the dates, and add them with the raisins and walnuts to the dough.Spoon dough onto cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for approximately 8 minutes.
