½ cup shortening½ cup white sugar½ cup packed brown sugar1 egg½ teaspoon vanilla extract1 cup all-purpose flour½ teaspoon baking soda¼ teaspoon baking powder¼ teaspoon salt1 cup rolled oats1 cup whole wheat flake cereal½ cup flaked coconut
Directions

Cream shortening with sugars. Beat in egg and vanilla.Mix together dry ingredients and stir into wet mix. Place by heaping spoonfuls on an ungreased baking sheet.Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 10 minutes. Remove immediately to cool.
